Christmas Time's a Coming!

My favorite floral season is just around the corner with lots of glitter and splashes of bright red and greenery.  Christmas for me just brings around memories of my childhood and family get-togethers with good homemade food.  Memories of those we've lost over the years and how I'd love to talk with them now too.  Each and every flower I add to an arrangement seems to bring me closer to those people I miss, and as sad as I'm sure that sounds, I find it soothing to my soul.  Christmas isn't about presents, it's about the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and the blessing of our family past and present.

Christmas Vase Bouquets

It looks like a glitter bomb has hit my studio! One of the reasons I love Christmas decorations is because of all the glitter. In order to get the glitter in the decorations, you have to have glitter EVERYWHERE when you are done. In this photo, you can see the 3 different sizes of artificial flower vase bouquets I can make. These look beautiful in your home or on a loved one's headstone. The flowers are permanently fixed into the base and have a UV coating for use outdoors. If interested, contact me about size, colors, base type, and price.

Our First Show is in the Books!

Today, August 7, 2021, has been a wonderful day. Sun was out, my canopy didn’t fly off to somewhere unknown, and I sold some art work! Loved interacting with my customers and learned some new things. One thing for certain, Bourbon Countians are the best people, kind, caring, and patient with me as I bumbled around sometimes. Even got a contact to display my photography at a Bourbon County business! Stay tuned for more information on that at a later date.

Old Barns

My husband is Kentucky born and bred. Grew up raising tobacco with his friends and family. He’s all about the farming life though he hasn’t raised tobacco now for many years. One of his loves is looking for the old barns signs while driving the Kentucky interstates. He asked if I could paint him a barn like he sees every once in a while so I obliged. Hope you like it!
